This answer provides instructions on how fix the “Manage Display mode” option in the NVIDIA Control Panel on the Razer Blade.

If the “Manage Display mode” option is not present in the Razer Blade which supports NVIDIA Advanced Optimus (or DDS), perform the following:

Important: Ensure that your Razer Blade supports NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. See Razer Blade laptops with support for NVIDIA Advance Optimus and how to use it for more details.

  1. Access BIOS on your Razer Blade. See How to access the BIOS settings on the Razer Blade for more details.

  2. Go to “Chipset” > “GPU MODE”.

  3. Select “NVIDIA(R) Dynamic Display Switch”.

Note: Selecting "NVIDIA DDS" in the BIOS enables Advanced Optimus which allows systems to dynamically switch an internal VESA Embedded DisplayPort laptop display panel across different display adapters, offering better battery life, performance, and benefits of G-Sync and high refresh rate.

  4. Restart the Razer Blade.

The NVIDIA Control Panel should now display the “Manage Display mode” option.
