Follow the steps below to resolve common issues on your Razer keyboard:
Important: Remove all peripherals except the primary keyboard and mouse.
-
Update the keyboard’s firmware.
-
Update both Razer Synapse and the computer's operating system.
-
Clean the keyboard using a clean microfiber cloth and compressed air.
-
Connect the keyboard directly to the computer. Do not use a USB hub, extender, or KVM switch.
If it is already connected directly, use a different USB port.
-
Verify that the USB port meets the product requirements, as some keyboards require at least USB 3.0.
-
For keyboards with two USB connectors, plug both connectors into the computer properly.
-
For desktop computers, use the USB ports located at the back of the system unit.
-
-
Get the keyboard out of demo mode.
-
Disable Razer Synapse and test the keyboard.
Note: If the issue persists, it is likely a switch issue. Replace the switch, but only if the keyboard is hot-swappable.
-
Do a clean re-install of the software if the keyboard works with Razer Synapse disabled.
