Setup
What are the minimum OS requirements?

-
On your mobile device, use iOS 18, Android 12 or above.
Note: Your GPU must be updated to the latest drivers.
What are the hardware requirements for streaming from a PC running Razer PC Remote Play?
Your PC must include a GPU (discrete or integrated) capable of hardware encoding H264 or H265. Software encoding is not supported.
Does my PC and mobile device need to be on the same network?
Yes. Your PC and mobile device must be on the same network for initial pairing. This means your PC and mobile device must either be on the same Wi-Fi or connected through the same local network (e.g., via Ethernet for the PC and Wi-Fi for the mobile device).
Once the initial pairing is complete, the setup works across different networks. For example, you can use your mobile device on a cellular data connection or a different Wi-Fi to connect to your PC. However, this remote access functionality depends on your home network configuration. Specifically, your home router must support and have UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) enabled. UPnP allows the necessary ports to open automatically for seamless communication between your mobile device and your PC over the internet.
How do I set up the Razer PC Remote Play?
-
Install Razer Cortex on your PC, and Razer PC Remote Play and Razer Nexus on your mobile device.
-
Sign in with your Razer ID on Razer Cortex and Razer Nexus. This will automatically pair your PC and mobile device.
Note: If you don’t have a Razer ID, pair your PC and mobile device using your PIN.
