This answer will provide you the latest EC update for your Razer Blade 14" (2022)| RZ09-0427x.

Effective February 3, 2026, Razer Synapse 3 will no longer receive updates or support cloud services. After this date, cloud syncing of configurations across PCs using the same Razer ID will be disabled.

Note: Your installed devices will continue to be configurable in Razer Synapse 3. However, if you uninstall these devices completely, you will need to upgrade to Razer Synapse 4 to continue customization.

STEP-BY STEP-PROCESS

Before you start

  1. Ensure you have the latest version of Razer Synapse 3. See How to manually check for updates on Razer Synapse 3.

  2. Plug the Razer Blade into a wall outlet. Do not let it run on battery alone before proceeding.

  3. Save any open documents on your computer.

  4. Close and exit Razer Synapse and all other programs.

  5. Download the latest firmware updater.

Update Process

  1. Run the updater.

  2. Click “Yes" if the User Account Control window pops up to proceed.

    The Razer Blade Updater window will appear with details regarding your current firmware version and the version your Razer Blade will be updated.

  3. Click “UPDATE” to initiate the update process.

    A progress bar will appear indicating the status of the installation process. During installation, you will not be able to access other applications.

  4. Wait for the system to restart.

    Note: During the restart, the light will blink green, and the keyboard will light up and turn off a few times before the system fully restarts. This will last for about 15 minutes.

  5. Wait for a few minutes as the device will stay in the blank screen state before fully powering up.

  6. Follow the onscreen instructions when the fTPM prompt appears.

    • Press “Y” if the Device Encryption is disabled before the software update.

      Note: For units with German keyboard layout, press the "Z" key instead.

    • Press “N” to keep the old fTPM record.
