Data backups are crucial to restore your Razer Phone in case it gets corrupted, damaged, destroyed, or lost. It is also necessary to back up your data before resetting the Razer Phone to factory settings.
Follow the steps below to perform a data backup on your Razer Phone.
Note: The instructions below apply to the Razer Phone with the Android Pie installed. See How to determine the version of the Android OS on your Razer Phone for more details.
Step-by-step process
- Ensure that the Razer Phone is up to date.
- Go to "Settings" > "Systems" > "Advanced" > "Backup".

- Enable "Back up to Google Drive".

- Tap "Account", then "Add account".

- Sign in your "Google Account".

Once enabled, the Razer Phone will regularly store your data in the cloud. To recover your data, sign in your Google account to sync the data to your mobile phone.
If you wish to backup larger files such as videos and other documents, you can manually upload them to Google drive. See How to transfer data or files from another device or cloud storage to the Razer Phone for more details.
