Wobbling may be due to an uneven surface you are putting your laptop on or a physical defect (gaps, popped-up case) on your laptop because of loose screws or worse, a swollen battery. Inspect your Blade’s base and ensure nothing is sticking out.
Note: If the laptop has been previously opened, ensure the D cover has been put back properly. Otherwise, it may also cause wobbling.
The following are some tips on how to check for wobbling:
-
Use a flat surface. To help determine if the surface is flat:
-
Use a straight ruler and lay it on top of the surface.
-
Ensure there is no gap between the surface and the ruler.
Note: Putting your laptop on a flat surface also helps in maintaining good airflow through the vents of your device.
-
-
Place the laptop on the surface without anything else like a mat, cardboard, cables, and the like.
-
Press each corner of your laptop gently and check for any movement.

-
Once wobbling is confirmed, check for any loose rubber foot or casing gap that may be causing it. If you suspect a bloated battery, do not try to remove it on your own. Take the device to an authorized repair center or contact Razer Support.
