Effective February 3, 2026, Razer Synapse 3 will no longer receive updates or support cloud services. After this date, cloud syncing of configurations across PCs using the same Razer ID will be disabled.
Note: Your installed devices will continue to be configurable in Razer Synapse 3. However, if you uninstall these devices completely, you will need to upgrade to Razer Synapse 4 to continue customization.

Macros are repetitive commands or routine actions that can be saved and played back if needed to be performed again. Razer keyboards can record and assign macros to its programmable keys. Record combos and commands as macros and assign them to your keyboard keys.

Step-by-step process

Create or record macros to assign to your Razer keyboard. See How do I create or delete macros on Razer Synapse 3 for more details.

Go to the Razer Synapse app “DASHBOARD”.

Select your keyboard from the list of devices.

- Select the key you want to assign a macro under “CUSTOMIZE”.

- Select the “MACRO”.

Click on the “ASSIGN MACRO” drop-down list.

Select the macro you want to assign and your preferred playback option.

- Click “SAVE” to complete the process.

The name of the key will change according to the name of the assigned macro.
