| Answer ID: 6498
This article provides instructions on what to do when the Razer Edge is not producing any audio or sound.

If the Razer Edge is not producing sound on its speakers, check if the device is on mute or the volume is low.

Important: Ensure that your Razer Edge 5G is up to date. See How to check software updates on the Razer Edge.

  1. Increase the volume by pressing the volume up button. Alternatively, adjust the sound in the device’s settings.

  2. Make sure that the audio settings are correct, and the device is not muted.

    1. Check if the “Media” and “Ring” volume slider are at their maximum for testing.

    2. Go to “Settings” > “Sound”.

    3. Test your device by playing music or by calling your phone.

  3. If the issue persists, reboot your Razer Edge by pressing the Power and the Volume Up buttons simultaneously for seven to 10 seconds.

  4. After rebooting, test the device by playing any music or video.

  5. If the above steps are unable to solve the issue, backup your files and perform a factory reset on your Razer Edge.
