The Razer Blade Pro 17" (2019) | RZ09-03148 is back and is pushing the limits to what a gaming laptop can do. It is built to run the most demanding games while still being 25% smaller than its predecessor – rocking a 17.3” display in a body that is as sleek and compact as a 15” laptop. It is equipped with the 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). Also, this iteration of the Razer Blade Pro 17” (Late 2019) will come with two display variants: a 4K (120 Hz) Panel, or an FHD (144 Hz / 240 Hz) for better viewing, gaming, and overall experience. Effective February 3, 2026, Razer Synapse 3 will no longer receive updates or support cloud services. After this date, cloud syncing of configurations across PCs using the same Razer ID will be disabled.
Note: Your installed devices will continue to be configurable in Razer Synapse 3. However, if you uninstall these devices completely, you will need to upgrade to Razer Synapse 4 to continue customization.

General Information
My game is running in discrete GPU (dGPU) when it is set to integrated GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel and Windows Graphic Setting
This is the expected behavior when the game is using Direct X (DX) or CUDA.
The secondary key functions on the Razer Blade do not light up
This is an expected behavior on the built-in keyboard of some Razer Blades purchased outside of the US. Due to the design and layout, the secondary functions on the non-US regional blades could not be lighted up.
Why are the fans on my Razer Blade still running while in sleep mode?
Newer Razer Blade and Razer Book models now utilize "Modern Standby" feature. It allows some applications to continue running in the background while the system is in sleep mode. With Modern Standby, system fans will continue spinning even when the screen is turned off to ensure proper cooling. This fan operation will consume power, so do the following actions to preserve system battery:
- Close unused applications
- Keep Windows up-to-date
- Use hibernate mode than sleep mode
- Completely shut down your system when not in use

Can I custom overclock my Razer Blade?
No. Custom overclocking on the newer versions of your Razer laptops is not possible since the CPU is locked. Razer laptops are carefully crafted, and its components are tuned to give the best performance under the most demanding gaming conditions. There is an associated risk of damage to crucial components if unauthorized changes are made, which will result in voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.
Can I use a lower-watt power adapter on my Razer Blade laptop?
Use the 230W adapter to get the best performance while your Razer Blade is running under heavy load. Under normal or light usage, you may use a 100W USB-C adapter for convenience. If you observe that it takes longer to recharge your Razer Blade or it is not even charging at all, then use the supplied adapter.
Note: A notification saying "More Power Required" will appear when you are using a lower wattage power adapter. This is not an issue and is expected behavior.
Can I dual boot, partition, modify, or install other operating systems on my Razer Blade?
Yes. However, the Razer Blade is designed for compatibility with the as-shipped OS. Should you want to install or modify the OS, format the boot drive first then install your OS. Razer Warranty and Support is only available for the as-shipped OS.
Will I overcharge my battery if I leave it plugged in even when it is at 100%?
No. The Razer Blade series uses a lithium-ion (Li-On) polymer battery. The Blade laptops have an internal circuit to stop charging at full charge to avoid overcharging and will only start recharging when the battery hits 95%.
